Cancellation & Refund

At Janjeevan Seva Foundation, we are committed to maintaining transparency and trust with our donors, supporters, volunteers, and website visitors. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how donation cancellations and refund requests are handled.

1. Donation Cancellation

All donations made to Janjeevan Seva Foundation are voluntary contributions towards our charitable and seva-related activities.

Once a donation is successfully made, it usually cannot be cancelled because the funds may be immediately allocated towards causes such as:

  • Gauseva and cow care
  • Food donation drives
  • Dog care and animal welfare
  • Old age home support
  • Community seva activities
  • Emergency relief and welfare work
  • Operational needs related to NGO activities

2. Refund Eligibility

Donations are generally non-refundable.

However, a refund request may be considered only in special cases such as:

  • Donation made by mistake
  • Duplicate payment
  • Incorrect amount entered by the donor
  • Payment deducted but donation not confirmed
  • Technical or transaction-related error

All refund requests will be reviewed by Janjeevan Seva Foundation, and approval will be at the sole discretion of the Foundation.

3. Refund Request Timeline

If you wish to request a refund, please contact us as soon as possible after the transaction.

To help us review your request, please share:

  • Donor name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Donation amount
  • Date of transaction
  • Payment reference / transaction ID
  • Reason for refund request

4. Refund Processing

If the refund request is approved, the refund will be processed through the original payment method or any other suitable method decided by the Foundation.

Refund timelines may depend on the payment gateway, bank, UPI provider, or financial institution involved.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may not be provided in cases where:

  • Donation has already been used for charitable activities
  • Donor changes their mind after making a donation
  • Incorrect details were submitted by the donor
  • Refund request is made after a long delay
  • The Foundation is unable to verify the transaction

6. Event Or Volunteer Registration Cancellation

If any event registration, seva drive participation, or volunteer activity is cancelled due to weather, permissions, safety, operational reasons, or other unavoidable circumstances, Janjeevan Seva Foundation may reschedule the activity or inform participants through available contact details.

Volunteer registrations usually do not involve payment and therefore may not require refund processing.
